Wyoming National Guard Museum
The Wyoming National Guard has been the state’s sword and shield for over 150 years. Our citizen soldiers have served at home and overseas to watch over our homes and preserve our freedom. The Wyoming National Guard Museum preserves and shares the history and legacy of the Wyoming Army and Air National Guard.
The NGM is based in a historic National Guard warehouse along Pershing Boulevard in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It houses historical exhibits exploring the Guard’s history and impact across three centuries. Outside, the NGM is home to a T-33 jet trainer and vehicles and artillery pieces used by the Army and Wyoming Guard in the past.
Besides exhibits, the NGM is home to the Wyoming Army and Air National Guards’ historical archives. Our collection of photographs, documents, and films are available to researchers during business hours. The NGM is a joint project between the Wyoming Military Department and the Wyoming National Guard Historical Society.
