Substance Abuse Prevention Program
The Wyoming Army National Guard Substance Abuse Program offers a wide variety of unique training for substance abuse prevention and intervention. The mission of the Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) is to strengthen the overall fitness and effectiveness of the Army’s workforce, to conserve manpower and enhance the combat readiness of soldiers.
It is based on unit risk factors and individual needs. Peer to peer engagement and equipping soldiers to be able to identify risk factors or behaviors is an important step to soldier readiness and resiliency.
Contact us if you, your unit, or fellow Guardsman need assistance in or with the following: drug use intervention, alcohol abuse/misuse, self-referrals, education and/or targeted prevention training.
