The tradition of wreaths from the state of Maine being donated to decorate the graves at Arlington National Cemetery began in 1992. It is the 12th year of a national campaign dubbed Wreaths Across America that will bring the same remembrance wreaths to more than 230 national and state veterans cemeteries and monuments across the nation. This year, as in past years, wreaths are donated for a special ceremony at each state’s Capitol the US Capitol. All of these specially made wreaths are donated by Worcester Wreath Company, in Harrington, Maine.
