Vets assistance in Natrona and Converse counties

A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout March.

Dave McDonell is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. McDonell can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or request healthcare.

His office is located at Casper armory, 5905 CY Ave., Room 125, and he will also be available at the following locations:

• Casper – March 5, 12, 19, 26 at the Vet Center, 1030 N. Poplar St., Suite B, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

• Douglas – March 14 at the Workforce Center, 311 N. Russell Ave., from 9 a.m. – noon.

During periods of inclement weather, please check with the staff at the outreach locations to ensure the veterans service officer will be available.
