Personal Financial Counselor
The Wyoming personal financial advisor program provides free, confidential personal financial counseling and group presentations to Wyoming National Guard members, Wyoming veterans, and their families. This program includes advice about resolving financial problems, budgeting and spending planning, retirement planning as well as information and advice on major purchases (home, auto, college,) identity theft, and TSP planning. The personal financial advisor can help with debt issues, credit management, insurance, security clearance concerns related to financial issues, and most other issues that are financial in nature.

Military OneSource is a one-stop-shop for military families. It provides information on health, career, parenting, finances, legal, recreation, special needs and more. The site also provides podcasts, webinars, discussion boards, moderated chat, and current news feeds. MOS staff will research local community resources on a case-by-case basis for any need a family may have, from counseling to child care or auto repair. Counselors trained at the masters level or higher are available 24/7 at 1-800-342-9647 and can provide up to 6 free confidential counseling sessions per issue.

PATRIOTlink® – a cloud-based resource solution that give users free access to cost-free veterans services. Users can include service members, veterans, caregivers, and their families. Service agencies and government organizations that support veterans and the caregiver population can also use this service.

Those who have worn the uniform and their spouses, family members, and caregivers can use the Yellow Ribbon Network as a tool to simplify their search for support. One request can lead to a plethora of non-profits that can help.
