Due to COVID-19 and CDC guidelines regarding social distancing, the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery has cancelled the annual flag placement on individual graves, which was scheduled for May 23, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
The cemetery will place the Avenue of Flags along the entry drive and The American Legion will place fifty flags within the entry drive island beginning Friday, May 22. They will remain on display throughout the Memorial Day weekend.
Visitors can place their own flag on an individual grave.
